Welcome to "A Rage of Angel." Don't worry, I'm not angry. I'm a writer. An unpaid writer. I submit work to print and online publications. On occasion, they accept it. I (mostly) don't get paid. Nope. Sure don't. Okay. Maybe I am angry. Deep breaths. I need money. I get hungry. *sigh* Pardon my tirade. As I was saying, I'm a writer. Welcome to my site.

Old Mother Hubbard Goes Before the Parole Board
Yep, the TRUE story finally revealed. Go read all about it on The New Flesh. I’ve transcribed it from Old Mother Hubbard’s very own words.
@NewFleshZine followed me on Twitter today, so I found your story this morning. Early. I just read it again, and I must say I enjoyed it more the second time. I must have been in a bit of a haze this morning, because I didn't really take in the title. It's one of those stories that depends on the reader understanding the premise based on the title, and once I did, I loved it.
Angel, I think this is one of the first woman's pov I've seen from you, at least at this length. I guess there's surrogate fruit, but this was much more personal.
Did I also mention the cleverness of the title? Awesome job, buddy.
Good one. Hey, Angel do you know exactly what issue of Morpheus Tales your story is coming out in? I'm just curious because if it's #8, I have that cover so it would be cool. Let me know :)
I loved it, Angel!

ReplyDeleteIncredible verse in this one, and beautifully distrubing.

I finally got a chance to swing by and read this gem. Excellent voice. I thoroughly enjoyed this look at the sordid life of "old" mother Hubbard.
