Welcome to "A Rage of Angel." Don't worry, I'm not angry. I'm a writer. An unpaid writer. I submit work to print and online publications. On occasion, they accept it. I (mostly) don't get paid. Nope. Sure don't. Okay. Maybe I am angry. Deep breaths. I need money. I get hungry. *sigh* Pardon my tirade. As I was saying, I'm a writer. Welcome to my site.

Flashshot: Howl
My new micro-horror piece, Howlis up on G.W. Thomas’ Flashshot. As always, if you miss reading it today, it’ll be available on the Last Ten Flashshots page.
I love it when I open my mailbox and a familiar name is attached to FlashShot. It's even better when the story is good enough to evoke a reaction. You did it on both counts.
Your horror is never cliché and written with such eloquent pragmatism, I often wonder how much of it might be true?

ReplyDeleteA treat.
ReplyDeleteWicked stuff Angel. How do you do it? So short and sweetly terrifying. I love those last four words: just chilling.
ReplyDeleteA howling good tale, Angel. ;) You mix and match with precision.
ReplyDeleteEvilness.
ReplyDeleteI knew from the first line "Hunger should never be considered evil" that this was gonna be a trip... A great one.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully horrid, Angel. The combination of lovely and poetic language merged with dark horrors is always a treat.
ReplyDeleteLovely work, Angel. You always light up Flashshots.
ReplyDeleteOoh...and ewww.... "scraps of immaculate flesh"
