Editor, Robin Stratton of Boston Literary Magazine has published my poem, The Paramedic Student Memoirs in the Summer 2010 issue. Robin offered a sound critique to my original submission, and I’m thrilled with the final product. Read it here.
Oonah V. Joslin and the staff at Every Day Poets feature my poem, We Will Not Speak of Stones. They always provide great personal feedback on the selection process of submissions. Drop by and read my work here.
Congrats Angel! I read both venues religiously, so off to read yours! (Was waiting for the new BLM to come up). Peace...
ReplyDeleteAngel, so good to see you again, and in such fine form. I have probably said this to you before, but you should really put all your poems together in book form. I would love to have a copy on my bookshelf.
ReplyDeletecongrats bud!
ReplyDeleteWell done. That's a hat-trick this week now!
ReplyDeleteYou are crackin' out some scary stuff - the Paramedic Student Memoirs are chilling to me, and I'm not sure how you thought of such twisted truths. We Will Not Speak of Stones deserves more stars; capturing real life perspectives is not easily done in poetry without sounding like fluff, and of course, Ode to A Poet Undertaker, on Cast Macabre is the good old horror poetry you do so well at.
ReplyDeleteCongrats.
Great couple of poems. "We Will Not Speak of Stones" was more to my taste, but both were powerful.
